These sessions typically last 1.5-2 hours. During the consult, we will review your past medical history and birth. A comprehensive feeding evaluation will be done which includes pre/post infant feeding weights, latch assessment and correction if necessary.
The objective of this visit is to help you move toward your breastfeeding goals and to facilitate optimal outcomes. You will receive a personalized plan of care with all your questions and concerns addressed.
This appointment typically lasts one hour. Follow up visits are essential for evaluating your breastfeeding progress. Similar to the initial visit, I will observe your infant's feeding and adjust the care plan accordingly. As your baby grows in the early newborn weeks, new strategies may be necessary to accommodate your baby's changing needs.
This visit typically lasts 45 minutes-1 hour. Going back to work can feel overwhelming for many women but it doesn't have to. Taking time to discuss and create a breastfeeding/pumping plan with an expert can make this period of your life feel less challenging. Together we can strategize how to best protect your milk supply and your breastfeeding relationship as you transition back to work.
